In vertical format, the island's shape is compact and singular. Streets and shoreline are tight against each other. You can trace where Mallory Square faces west and where the Atlantic meets the Gulf. Fleming Key and the naval air station sit just north, adding just enough neighboring land to give the composition scale. The rest is water.
